About the ICT Grant
 
This grant provides co-funding for charities to harness ICT to facilitate the submission of returns and transactions on the Charity Portal.
  
What is Covered?
(1) Basic infrastructure components for all charities:
  
  • 2 Computers (Desktop or Laptop)
  •   
  • 1 Printer
  •   
  • 1 Broadband Account
  •   
  • Office Automation Tools

  • (2) Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software for the enhancement of charities' basic operational capabilities (e.g. Microsoft Office, Anti-virus, Adobe Acrobat) and adoption of Charities Accounting Standard (CAS).
     
    (3) Conversion of accounting systems to adopt CAS.
     
     
     
    Funding Quantum
     
    Approved applications are co-funded up to 70% of the supported costs or 70% of the actual expenditure, whichever is lower.

    Computer (Desktop or Laptop) $1,100 per equipment
    Printer $256 per equipment
    Broadband (multi-user) $1,645 per account
    Office Automation Tools (e.g. eMail, eLeave, eForm, eNoticeboard, etc) $120 per user
    COTS software 2 units per software product

    Cumulative funding is capped at $100,000 per charity over 5 years (1 Apr 2012 to 31 Mar 2017).

      

    Funding will be disbursed upon VCF Secretariat's receipt of the reimbursement claim by charities, supported with certified true copy of the vendor's invoice and delivery order.
      
     
     
    ICT Grant Application Form
      
    Charities may submit the ICT Grant application form with their preferred vendor’s quotation. For project costs exceeding $3,000, charities should also submit 3 quotations of comparable scope / specifications. 
       
    All applications for ICT Grant should be submitted to the VCF Secretariat before the purchase or project commencment to be eligible for funding.
