Commissioner of Charities Releases Annual Report for 2022​​

         2022 saw the lifting of most COVID-19 restrictions. Charities were able to ramp up their activities and resume more in-person events and activities while embracing renewed connections with volunteers and donors.

Together with the Charity Council, the Office of the Commissioner of Charities (COC) carried out many initiatives during the year to promote good governance and transparency, and enhance the competencies and capabilities of charities. The COC Annual Report also highlights (a) the efforts to maintain a regulatory framework that remains relevant and effective in supporting the good work of our charities, and (b) key statistics on charities.​
