The Charity Transparency and Governance Awards 2024 organised by the Charity Council was held on 14 November 2024 at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay. The Charity Transparency and Governance Awards recognise charities for their efforts in upholding governance, transparency and building public trust in the sector.
The evening began with an opening performance by the Vocalist Insight from Singapore Institute of Technology, followed by addresses by Guest of Honour, Minister Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Ms Theresa Goh, Chairperson, Charity Council.

Charity Governance Awards 2024 (CGA) and Special Commendation Awards (SCA)
The CGA represents the highest honours for charities in governance. The two charities that won the CGA are:
- HCA Hospice Limited
- The UWCSEA Foundation Limited

Six charities also received recognition for exemplary governance practices in specific areas such as clarity of strategy, risk management, succession planning. The charities that won the SCA are:

- Care Corner Singapore Limited
- Caritas Humanitarian Aid & Relief Initiatives (Singapore) Ltd (CHARIS)
- Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital
- Ren Ci Hospital
- SATA CommHealth
Charity Transparency Awards (CTA)
The CTA recognises charities with good disclosure practices. Charities are assessed based on good transparency standards recommended under the Charity Transparency Framework. This year, 109 charities received the CTA, with five featured in a dedicated
CTA video.
The second performance was by students from Temasek Polytechnic- Fusion Percussion, a highly-spirited group of passionate individuals with a deep interest for percussive music. These talented students have brought such vibrancy to the evening.
Charity Transparency Dedication Awards (CTDA)
Charity Transparency Dedication Awards is a new award category that recognises charities that have sought constant improvement in their transparency measures and put in strong disclosure practices in line with the Charity Transparency Framework. 29 charities received this inaugural award, highlighting their dedication and perseverance in the charity sector.
